I love the Smartest Giant In Town; the front cover attracts me straight away, the reason it attracts me is because the picture is brilliant, somebody in our classsaid (and I agree) that a picture shows a thousand words.
I have had this book since I was 2; I read it every night after a different book because if the different book is scary or sad it prevents me from having nightmares. In this book a scruffy giant gets some smart clothes but on the way back home he meets various animals who desperately need his help, and his clothes!
I explained to my mates and teacher why this is my favourite book.

Today is World Book Day. I brought my favourite book in to school the book is called Toms Midnight Garden!! I like the book because we watched the film of it in school and I really enjoyed it. We each took turns to say some think about our book!!!!!!!!!! I got a house point for bringing in a book that we looked at in school. I really enjoyed the day!!

Today is World Book Day and my favourite book is Diary of a Wimpy kid the Ugly truth by Jeff Kinney. I have chosen this book to show the class because it is a hilarious book about a boy called Greg Heffley who wants to grow up. However he is worried that growing up is not all it’s cracked up to be. Greg did have a friend called Rowley but they had a fall out so it looks like he is going to have to face the Ugly truth alone. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes laughter. Over all give this book a 1/1 amazing.

The reason I chose this book is because it is full of evil villains, 3 very unfortunate children and last but not least very bad guardians (the children’s Mom and Dad perished in a fire!)
I read it in the first place because we saw it in Water stones and my Mom said to by the series.

Hello Year 4. It's been very interesting reading all about your favourite books.
One of my absolute favourites from my childhood has got to be the Tripods series by John Christopher. There are three books in the main series, starting with "The White Mountains". I have recently re-read these three books and have enjoyed it all over again. If you haven't read The Tripods Trilogy I would really recommend you look it up!

Charlie and the Chocolate factory

This week it is World Book Day. I bought my favourite book to school. It is Charlie and the chocolate factory. The book is funny and enjoyable too read. I like it because of the way it is fun to read and fun to watch the movie as well. It is a fantasy book with humour. I read this book quite allot, about 3 or 4 times. I have told my class about my favourite book and the reason why. I love Charlie and the chocolate factory because when you see the front cover you just have to read it. It was the first book I ever had.

This week is World book Day. We have bought are favourite book into school. It is my favourite book because it is really funny. Sophie who the mane character said in the middle of the play rhubarb, rhubarb, rhubarb it was really funny. Sophie has twins called Mathew and mark. I have tolled everyone in the class that this is my favourite book. There is a girl called Dawn who Sophie doesn’t like because Dawn trod on Sophie’s woodlice and she had never forgiven her.

This week it is national book week and I have chosen my favourite book I have chosen Roodica the rude and the Famous Fleas Trick. I like this book because it makes you laugh so much you will pop. It also is very interesting to read because it has different words in it that are interesting. My favourite part is when Roodica catches lots of fleas and sneaks into the Romans houses and put the fleas in their bed covers. Roodica the rude is the best book ever in the whole world!!!

I like this book because I went to see it in the pantomime with my Mum and it was very smelly because we had a scratch and sniff book for free. When I read it makes me laugh a lot because he had a bath in the pond and became the primeinister and went on a quiz with Mrs. Crumb. I give this book 10/10 because it’s funny and really good for reading. My favourite part is when Mr. Stink tells a story about his wife because it made me cry (just a bit.) I recommended people who like big books. I give it a smiley face !!!!!!!

Three of Diamonds by Anthony Horowitz is the best book ever. I chose this book for World Book Day because it’s the best book I’ve read but, I have only read The French Confection and I have told the class about it. This book was a rib tickling book and that’s why I chose this book and I mite change soon.

Tom Sawyer the champion
This week it’s World Book Day. I have brought my favourite book in to school today. My favourite book is called Tom Sawyer the champion my mom had it when she was young but she gave it to me. I chose this book because it has a lot of adventure and fun in. It is funny and good. I read it when I go to bed every night. It helps me get to sleep. Tom Sawyer books are quite short books though. My teacher Mr Winter remembered my book when I showed it to him and he was very pleased with me. i don’t like to stop reading it though . The clothes in it are old fashion because it was olden times then. The person who wrote it was called Mark Twain.

This week was World Book Day I thought about this a lot but in the end I came to decide that Skulduggery Pleasant Bringer was my favourite.
I chose this because it’s got all a good book needs to have. Don’t just judge this book by its title its got humour too.
This book is about a skeleton that has come back from the dead and a girl. They both know magic which makes it even more exiting. They are detectives in the normal world though.
The bad guys are called “Necromancers”. They want something called the passage to make them live forever. In order to do that there’s a person called the death bringer she has to kill billions of people at the same time with magic.

This week is World Book Day and we brang in our favourite book. My favourite book is diary of the wimpy kid Rodrick rules its about this wimpy kid writing a journal but it sais Diary written on the front so he sais if anyone catches him writing in his journal with Diary written on the front of it … I like this book because I don’t want to put it down and I don’t want to finish it! I have seen the film Diary of the wimp kid Rodrick rules and it’s made me want to read the other Diary of the wimpy kids! I never want to stop reading Diary of the kid Rodrick rules but I finished Diary of the wimpy kid Rodrick rules!

I like this book because it’s funny and it’s interesting I think it’s a big book with interesting thoughts. This is the only book of the whole series that I’ve read that’s more my type. I’m into books that have not got a lot of pages. And diary of a Wimpey kid hasn’t got a lot of pages.

This week has been world book day and my favourite book is Captain Underpants and the wicked wrath of wedgie woman I like this book because it’s funny its fantasy and even has comics in it! The funny parts in this book is were George and Harold change the signs around for example (Please were your socks on the Gym floor pee pee in your socks for warmth Y LOL are letters left on the floor) I also like this book because it has good reasons for things Captain Underpants cant fly if he has itching powder in his Underpants. And finally what every kid loves action it has the best action because it features flip o Rama I recommend this book to anyone.

Slime squad vs. The Cyber-poos
It is World Book Day this week and we have been thinking about our favourite books. My favourite book is The Slime Squad VS The Cyber-poos, it is my favourite book because t is rude in places because there are little piles of poo everywhere. I have had this book 1 year now I got it from the book fair last year.
I have shown my book to the whole Class. My favourite part is when Danjo and Plog got there hands stuck together with there super sticky slime. The Author is called Steve Cole.
