Fun Friday

I am sure you have all remembered your fancy dress costumes - but please also remember it is our MacMillan coffee afternoon during the sponsored walk. Any donations of cakes would be most welcome. If you are able to watch the walk and can bring a deck chair or picnic rug with you that would be great as we may be short on chairs.

A visit to Wall

This morning the children in class 3 visited Wall Roman site. We saw the remains of a mansion and a bath house as well as having the opportunity to hold some real Roman pieces of pottery. The volunteers from Nation Heritage  showed us around. They were very impressed by the behaviour and knowledge of the children.
Thank you to Miss Pitt and Mrs Russell for coming with us and helping to make  the morning so successful.

Class 3 governor visit

On Friday the children in class 3 were pleased to meet their class governor Mr Richard Southgate for the first time.
The children grilled Mr Southgate ...asking him questions about his role as a governor at Moor Hall.
He plans to come into school regularly to work with the children.

Here is a picture, taken by Evan, of Mr Southgate with Tamsin and Luca who are the School Council representatives for our class.
