Year 5 at the Schools' Challenge final

Yesterday, Year 5 had a fantastic time at Perry Barr Fire Station to take part in the 'Schools' Challenge' final! We have learnt lots of safety facts and had lots of fun!

Fireman Keith Comes to Moorhens

A fire fighter from Sutton Coldfield fire station came to Moorhens to give the children a talk on fire safety. He gave the children an insight into what it means to be a fire fighter and what the role involves. Mrs Conrad had to demonstrate the clothing a fire fighter has to wear when tackling a fire. A Fire Fighter is Coming to Moorhens

Moorhens children will get the chance on Wednesday afternoon to see what the Sutton Coldfield Fire Department do to keep us safe in our community.The children will be shown what equipment they use, what their daily routine is and how they tackle fires in our area.

Fire Service Visit Year 5

Year 5 children had an educational afternoon with the West Midlands Fire Service today. The learned about safety at home, road safety and the problems that are caused by hoax calls. Thanks go to the kind staff at Sutton Coldfield Fire Station.
