Edgbaston cricket finals day - Year 5

Year 5's cricket team represented Moor Hall exceptionally! They came 9th out of 140 schools which we are all incredibly proud of. A big thank you to the team and parents for a wonderful day.

Autumn Term 1 Clubs

There are still places left for the Autumn term clubs.

Mondays - Football  - for the current reception class to the current year 2 class (places still available).

Tuesdays - Street Dance - for the current year 2 class to the current year 5 class (places still available).

Wednesdays - Tennis (FULL)

Thursday - Netball - for the current year 2 class to the current year 5 class (places still available)

Friday - Tag Rugby - for the current year 2 class to the current year 5 (places still available)

Reminder: There is only a short time left to book for clubs as the booking window will be closing soon.

Year 6 netball presentation evening

A MASSIVE well done to all the netballers who have played throughout the netball season this year. You have represented Moor Hall brilliantly and we couldn't be more proud of you. Here are some photos from the evening/tournament.

Sports Award

On Tuesday we presented the winner of our Clewer trophy for sporting excellence. Many congratulations.

Sports Day

Well done to everyone who took part in our KS2 Sports Day this morning. The overall winners were Ennis. I have attached some photos to this blog. Thank you to Mrs Petty for doing such a wonderful job of organising this.

Area Sports

Area Sports has been cancelled for this year. This means that Moor Hall remain champions. We are hoping for sunshine for tomorrow morning.

Year 2 came 2nd in the indoor athletics at Bishop Vesey last night.

KS1 Multi Skills Winners

Winners of the KS1 Multi Skills Competition at Sutton College. Fantastic team work; well done to the students and a big thank you to all the parents & grandparents who came to support them.

 

Key Stage Two Sports Day

We have just come in from our Sports Day.

Class Three would like to say thank you to Mrs Petty and all her assistants for making our morning such fun.

We had a great time and the rain started when we came inside!!!

KS1 Sports Day!

A huge well done to all children in KS1 today for participating in a very soggy sports day!  You all did a fantastic job!!  I have uploaded a selection of photographs from the morning (before we got rained off) and of our presentation in the hall this afternoon. 

Turkish Airlines Birmingham Primary School Games Festival

Last Friday (8th July), Moor Hall took part in the Birmingham School Games, which was hosted by King Edwards.

KS1 Sport's Stars!

Well what a week it has been for children here in KS1 this week.  Yesterday children from Classes 2 and 1 came second in an indoor athletics competition and today they have taken part in a run for 'Sport's Relief'.  I have uploaded a selection of photographs from both events onto the Class 2 section of the website.

Class 2 Sporting Super Stars!

I'm sure many of you have already heard our fabulous news ... Class 2 winning the Multi-Skills competition at John Wilmot last night!  10 other schools were competing so we are so very proud of our little super stars coming first place!  A big thank you to Mrs Petty for organising our team and to parents who brought children along and supported us at the event!  I have uploaded photographs to the Class 2 section of the website.

And the winners are ...

As promised we revealed the house team winners of the Inter House Cross Country in our Star Writer's assembly this morning.  Well done to Ennis House in Class 1 and Armstrong House in Class 2 for picking up first prize.  A huge well done to all KS1 children for their fantastic effort and sportsman ship!

KS1 Sports day
