Moor Hall Carnival of Lions

Moor Hall Primary School are extremely excited to present a dance performed by the whole school - The Carnival of the Lion’s. As a school, we have taken inspiration from the Carnival of the Animals concert, of which we were fortunate to watch being performed live (virtually) by the CBSO, and have used this dance project as an exciting opener to many more ‘animal’ based projects that we have in store. All children from EYFS to Year 6 fully engaged, enjoyed and achieved during this project and we are so proud to show you our final performance. Enjoy. #themoorhallchild

Hello Class 2!

I hope you've all had a good start to your week!

Please feel free to share any pictures or videos of how you are spending your day!


In particular, please send me some of the messages of positivity that you made for your PSHE task on Monday. I would like to share one of your messages each day alongside any art work you make over the coming days. Lots of people across the country have been making rainbows to spread a message of happiness.


I can see that some of you have been able to get onto Numbots and even explore some of the games! Keep this up!


I hope you are able to get outside in the garden on this lovely day and I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Year 2 Go Bonkers at Conkers!

Today year 2 have been on a trip to Conkers - an indoor and outdoor activity centre.

We have done activities such as a Barefoot Walk, a ride on a train, a 4D cinema experience and so much more!

Indoor Athletics at Bishop Vesey

KS1 SATs Information Evening

KS1 Multi Skills Winners

Winners of the KS1 Multi Skills Competition at Sutton College. Fantastic team work; well done to the students and a big thank you to all the parents & grandparents who came to support them.

 

Class 2 Awards!

Yesterday afternoon we had a special 'Class 2 Award Ceremony' in our class.  I have uploaded photographs to our section of the school website. Class 2 are fabulous!!  I will really miss you next year.

KS1 Sports Day!

A huge well done to all children in KS1 today for participating in a very soggy sports day!  You all did a fantastic job!!  I have uploaded a selection of photographs from the morning (before we got rained off) and of our presentation in the hall this afternoon. 

Class 2 Page Update

Wow, what a busy start to Summer 2!  Our last two weeks have been jam packed of fun activities.  I have uploaded three new albums to our section of the website - You can now see photographs of the PA Sponsored Walk, the Queen's 90th Birthday Celebrations and our Father's Day Assembly.

Class 2 Florence Nightingale Assembly

Thank you to all of the families that came to watch our assembly today.  I think you will agree that the children did a fantastic job and performed brilliantly!  I have uploaded a few photographs onto our section of the website (although I didn't take many as I was too busy enjoying the performance!).

Thank you to all of the wonderful Year 2 parents for providing such fantastic costumes for the children!  We really appreciate your support! :)

Class 2 Page Update!

I have uploaded a selection of photographs from our Science lesson this afternoon.  The children have been hard at work making circuits.  We had a really fun, interactive afternoon!

Year 2 SPaG Workshop

I would like to thank all of the parents and grandparents who attended our SPaG workshop this morning.  It was fantastic to see all the children engaged with you working through their activities.  I have uploaded a selection of photographs from the morning to our class section of the website.  I have also uploaded a selection of the games and activities that were out today onto the 'Useful Documents For Parents in Year 2' page for you to practice at home if you wish as I know some parents said it would be good to have at home.  I will try to update them frequently so the children have a range of SPaG games to play at home.

KS1 Sport's Stars!

Well what a week it has been for children here in KS1 this week.  Yesterday children from Classes 2 and 1 came second in an indoor athletics competition and today they have taken part in a run for 'Sport's Relief'.  I have uploaded a selection of photographs from both events onto the Class 2 section of the website.
