Moorhens April - May Booking Forms

As the school was closed on Friday due to severe weather, Moorhens booking forms will now be delayed by 1 day and will be handed out in the school red bags on Tuesday 6th March instead of Monday 5th March.

Clubs for the April-May term will be:

Mondays - Athletics (Aspire) Yrs 1-3 and yrs 4 - 6

Tuesdays - Wildlife club (Mrs Glare) KS2

Wednesdays - Netball (Little Sutton Netball Club) yrs 4-6

Thursday - Tennis  (Aspire) yrs 1-4

Friday - Cricket & Rounders (Kick Start) Yrs 1-4

Make sure you send  in your booking forms with full payment and hand to Moorhens staff as soon as possible to secure a place at one of the above clubs. They are all on a first come, first serve basis.

Moorhens booking forms for the 2017-2018 academic year will be sent out on the following dates:

Sept-Oct Booking Forms

Booking forms for the September/October term were due to go out in school bags on Monday 5th June. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, booking forms may not go out until the end of June/beginning of July.

All clubs for the June-July term will be going ahead as planned. If you still wish to book your child into a club after half term, please see Mrs Conrad.

June -July Booking Forms

The June-July booking forms will be going out in the childrens red bags today. As they were printed before half term, there have been some slight changes.


Thursday 8th June- School will be closed due to the General Election

No clubs on Thursday 13th, Wednesday 19th, Monday 24th & Tuesday 25th July.

Year 6 have an induction day on Wed 5th July.

If you are booking clubs and Moorhens, be aware of the dates above. You may need to book your child into Moorhens if a club is not available.

Moorhens Booking Forms

It has just come to my attention that the year 4 booking forms have not been handed out in the red school bags this afternoon.
If you have another sibling within school and they have recieved a booking form, you are very welcome to use that form for both children.

If you wish, you can also collect a booking form from Moorhens. We are open from 8am in the morning.

Moorhens Booking Forms

Parents,

Moorhens booking forms for the June-July term will be handed out in the children’s red school bags on the afternoon of Monday 16th May.

Please make sure all areas, including the back of the form have been fully completed.

As we need important information about your child, such as known allergies, medical conditions, who is collecting your child, emergency contact numbers etc, a booking form without this information is not going to help your child if we were to have an emergency. So booking forms which have not been fully completed on the reverse of the form will be returned to parents. 

Re submitted forms will not be added to the day they came in originally, but added to the pile on whatever day they are returned.

April-May Extended School Booking Forms

Due to children in year five being at Abernant between Monday 9th and Friday 13th March, booking forms for all clubs will be handed out on Monday 16th March rather than Friday 13th March. This is because all clubs are on a first come first serve basis and it wouldn't be fair to the children who could not access the paperwork  at the same time as everyone else.

Club Booking Forms

Reminder:

All booking forms for Moorhens and Extended School clubs will be sent out in the childrens red bags on Friday 10th October. 

All clubs are on a first come first serve basis, so I would recommend that parents  bring their booking forms personally to Moorhens rather than through the childrens red bags.

Please make sure all booking forms are correctly filled out including telephone numbers and names of  people who can collect your child for that day.

Please take note of dates and times of the Extended School clubs, as some clubs are not available on certain days, which may affect  Moorhens bookings.

All bookings need to be paid in advance of any club being booked and only bookings made for the whole half term will be charged £3.00 per child per session. All other bookings will be £4.00 per session.

P.E kits need to remain in school for the children to participate in any of the Extended School clubs. Also please make sure all P.E kits have your childs name clearly marked on them as all P.E kits look exactly the same and they will be easier to find.

Moorhens Booking Forms

Apologies:

Yr 1 & 2 September classes have not had their booking forms  for the September-October term, therefore booking forms will be handed out with registration forms on Monday afternoon. If you need to book your child in to a club before then, booking forms are available from the porch,  the office, or they are available from Moorhens. Also forms will be available to print from the school web site from Tuesday afternoon.

Tuesday Netball:

This club is for years 4 & 5 only, as stated on the club booking form.

Moorhens & Extended School Clubs Booking Forms

Moorhens and the Extended School Club booking forms will be sent out in the childrens red bags tomorrow (Friday 9th May). If for any reason you do not have a copy, extra copies will be available from the school porch, office and Moorhens or will be available to download from Tuesday 13th May off the school web site.

Next term will be a 7 week term. All clubs except tennis will cover the whole 7 weeks. Tennis will cover 6 of those weeks, therefore, there will be no tennis on Thursday 17th July (last week of term). Arts & Crafts will still be going ahead as normal that day.
