A fire fighter from Sutton Coldfield fire station came to Moorhens to give the children a talk on fire safety. He gave the children an insight into what it means to be a fire fighter and what the role involves. Mrs Conrad had to demonstrate the clothing a fire fighter has to wear when tackling a fire. Bookings for clubs should be made before Wednesday 23rd October. If there are not enough numbers of children for clubs to go ahead, clubs will then be cancelled.
A Fire Fighter is Coming to Moorhens
Moorhens children will get the chance on Wednesday afternoon to see what the Sutton Coldfield Fire Department do to keep us safe in our community.The children will be shown what equipment they use, what their daily routine is and how they tackle fires in our area.

Once upon a time...we joined Ladybirds.
We have been amazed at how quickly Ladybirds have settled into school life. Here are a few photographs we would like to share with you of our first half term. Moorhens

If you would like confirmation of your booking then this will be sent to you via email too.
Extended School Club Booking Forms
Moorhens and Extended School Club booking forms will be in the childrens red bags on Friday 11th October. Just a reminder that bookings for both Moorhens and the Extended School Clubs are on a first come first serve basis.

Year 1 had a great day with our governor Adam Williams . He came to
school in his ambulance and showed the children the equipment he uses
for his job with St. John's Ambulance.

Trust Days
Children at Moor Hall at Little Sutton school joined together as part of the
Four Oaks Learning Trust of Excellence 'Trust Days'. The children looked at the
values of the Cooperative Trust and enjoyed working and playing together.
