Father's Day Assembly

The school hall was full of proud fathers this morning enjoying listening to their children in KS1. Personally I thought the assembly was very touching - I had never seen so many of our dads at school and the comments that the children made were heartfelt. It was a delight to listen to what the children had to say - I know the assembly meant a lot to everyone concerned. Thank you KS1 for such a lovely assembly. Mr Steggall.

Playtime Games

http://moorhall.blogspot.co.uk/2014/06/playtime-games.html

Today Class Three have been thinking  about their favourite game to play at break.

We tried to describe the game, explain why we enjoyed playing it and suggest who else might like it
too.
Tomorrow the children will be blogging about their favourite game.

Please feel free to join our discussion.

BBC Midlands Today

It was really good to see our school mentioned within the BBC News coverage of the Learning Trust for Excellence. Just to clarify, we are still a maintained school. This means that we are working under the umbrella of Birmingham City Council . We are not working independently from the council as it may have appeared in the report.

Moor Hall on TV

Did anyone see Moor Hall on Midlands Today this evening?  ( Monday)

I saw the children enjoying choir.... A glimpse of Mrs Collins and Mr Watts.

There were shots of the children playing on the field with Mrs Garrington being interviewed.

If you looked carefully you saw the back of Mr Steggall's head too!

[NOTE: If you missed it, the show can still be seen on iPlayer until Tuesday evening. Click here to watch - and scroll to 21:20 if you want to skip straight to the bit with Moor Hall in it!]
