Thank you to all of the families that came to watch our assembly today. I think you will agree that the children did a fantastic job and performed brilliantly! I have uploaded a few photographs onto our section of the website (although I didn't take many as I was too busy enjoying the performance!).
Thank you to all of the wonderful Year 2 parents for providing such fantastic costumes for the children! We really appreciate your support! :)

Year 3 Roman work!
Have a look at the Class 3 page of the website. You will see some excellent work created as Powerpoint presentations. The were made following our visit to Wall to learn about Roman life. I'm sure you will agree that the work shows that the children were inspired by the trip.
The Great Fire Of London Assembly
We would like to thank all the parents and relatives that have made, bought and borrowed costumes for our assembly. It was a great performance from year one budding actors and actresses, also dancers. Thank you for all your kind comments which we pass on to the children.

Moorhens Booking Forms
Parents,
Moorhens booking forms for the June-July term will be handed out
in the children’s red school bags on the afternoon of Monday 16th May.
Please make sure all areas, including the back of the form have
been fully completed.
As we need important information about your child,
such as known allergies, medical conditions, who is collecting your child,
emergency contact numbers etc, a booking form without this information is not
going to help your child if we were to have an emergency. So booking forms
which have not been fully completed on the reverse of the form will be returned
to parents.
Re submitted forms will not be added to the day they came in
originally, but added to the pile on whatever day they are returned.
Please make sure any cheques are made payable to Moor Hall school
Thank you

Climate Action Awards
Taking action for climate change is important at home, but it's just as important at school.
Children taking part in the RSPB Climate Action Awards have been keen to take action. They have spread the message using posters and our club's noticeboard, they have been proactive checking taps, thermometers and lights, they have organised the composting bins and have planted seeds to form wildflower beds.
This morning more 'Greening our School' took place. The school pond is very active with tadpoles at present, helping protect this wildlife area of the school is part of our award action.
Mrs Glare said: "Well done children, you are all doing your bit to help combat climate change."
