Moor Hall Mix.... Coming Soon

In ICT Club we have been very busy planning our new show, Moor Hall Mix. We won't reveal any details about the show just yet, but stay tuned for more information over the coming weeks!

So far this half term we have used mind mapping tools to brainstorm our ideas and word processing tools to write our scripts. We have also dabbled with some image editing programs to create some logo ideas for Moor Hall Mix.

Soon we will be recording our show and if all goes well, Moor Hall Mix will be available to watch on the school website and here on the blog! Keep an eye on the blog for future updates!

Come on Class 4 get blogging!!

Mr Winter really wants to get class 4 blogging -can you join in?

Latest Poll Results: TV programmes

The latest poll results are in, and we now know what type of television programming Moor Hall blog readers enjoy most. As we can see from the pie-chart, drama and comedy are firm favourites. Surprisingly, sport got no votes at all!

As it was World Book Day last week, why not have a go at our latest poll on the right to let us know what your favourite type of book is?

World Book Day

Here are some of Class 4's favourite books.
We thought about them because it is World Book Day this week!

Lucy wrote:
I love the Smartest Giant In Town; the front cover attracts me straight away, the reason it attracts me is because the picture is brilliant, somebody in our classsaid (and I agree) that a picture shows a thousand words.

I have had this book since I was 2; I read it every night after a different book because if the different book is scary or sad it prevents me from having nightmares. In this book a scruffy giant gets some smart clothes but on the way back home he meets various animals who desperately need his help, and his clothes!

I explained to my mates and teacher why this is my favourite book.

Blogging made easy!

It's official, for today only Feb29th.net has opened its doors to everyone, whether a pupil, a teacher, a parent or someone completely unrelated to education!

The aim of Feb29th.net is to get everyone blogging, without any hassles such as signing in or using complicated interfaces. You can blog about whatever you want; perhaps you'd like to say what you'll be doing or have been doing today? Maybe just talk about what you think of Moor Hall Primary School? You could even talk about your hobbies, your pets, or even make up your own story!

Remember that your thoughts and opinions will be read all over the world, so make sure you think carefully about what you write!

Feel free to post in the comments below if you have added something to Feb29th.net. Hve fun blogging!
