Moorhens Satisfaction Survey

A satisfaction survey was sent out to parents recently. Results from this can be found on the Moor Hall School web site.

Moorhens Extended School Clubs

At the request of parents we have reviewed this terms clubs.  We are now offering Athletics and Tennis as new clubs for the Summer Term, don't miss out on this opportunity, book up as soon as possible.

Mondays - Athletics yrs 1-6. Places still available

Tuesdays - Wildlife club KS2 (FULL)

Wednesday - Netball Yrs 4-6 Places still available

Thursday - Tennis Yrs 1-4. Places still available

Friday - Cricket & Rounders Yrs 1-4

Moorhens April - May Booking Forms

As the school was closed on Friday due to severe weather, Moorhens booking forms will now be delayed by 1 day and will be handed out in the school red bags on Tuesday 6th March instead of Monday 5th March.

Clubs for the April-May term will be:

Mondays - Athletics (Aspire) Yrs 1-3 and yrs 4 - 6

Tuesdays - Wildlife club (Mrs Glare) KS2

Wednesdays - Netball (Little Sutton Netball Club) yrs 4-6

Thursday - Tennis  (Aspire) yrs 1-4

Friday - Cricket & Rounders (Kick Start) Yrs 1-4

Make sure you send  in your booking forms with full payment and hand to Moorhens staff as soon as possible to secure a place at one of the above clubs. They are all on a first come, first serve basis.

Moor Hall School is closed tomorrow for parents and children due to severe weather conditions.

Extreme Weather

It has been a very cold day indeed and thankfully, with the support of Balfour Beatty and a prompt response from Western electrical, we were able to get the heating and electrical systems up and running by 10.30 this morning.  The initial fault only happened at 8.15 am, so there was some warmth remaining in school at the start of the school day.

In the case of any extreme weather conditions where we find that we have to close our school, you will be notified through text. Information is also posted on our school's website and Twitter accounts. A decision ordinarily will be made by 7.30am. Please keep an eye on your texts and our website should weather deteriorate badly at any point in the days ahead.
