Year 5 trip to Abernant - Day 2

Year 5 really enjoyed participating in the lake challenge, obstacle course and fencing today despite being very wet, muddy and cold! Nevertheless, we all loved celebrating James' and Jacob's 10th birthday.

We are most certainly hoping for nicer weather tomorrow.

Class 2 does World Book Day!

Moorhens Booking Forms

It has just come to my attention that the year 4 booking forms have not been handed out in the red school bags this afternoon.
If you have another sibling within school and they have recieved a booking form, you are very welcome to use that form for both children.

If you wish, you can also collect a booking form from Moorhens. We are open from 8am in the morning.

Year 1 Super Spellers

Today Year 1 'Super Spellers' were rewarded with a special 'Tea with me'. We had orange squash, cookies and a lovely chat. Keep up the good work Year 1. Who will be joining me next?

Pinkie Purple Day - Friday 17th February

The Sutton Consortium Schools will be supporting the Rotary Club and their fight to eradicate Polio by supporting Pinkie Purple Day again this year.  Children may wear something purple/pink and we are asking for a £1 voluntary donation towards supporting the Rotary Club. 

The majority of the 20 Sutton Coldfield Primary Schools will be participating in this fund raising day.  The purple pinkie refers to the dye which is applied to the pinkies (little fingers) of children in Afghanistan, Nigeria and Pakistan who have been given the vaccination under the Rotary International “End Polio Now” programme."

KS1 Multi Skills Winners

Winners of the KS1 Multi Skills Competition at Sutton College. Fantastic team work; well done to the students and a big thank you to all the parents & grandparents who came to support them.
