National Poetry Day
To celebrate National Poetry Day the children in Class 3 have been reading the poem When Daddy Fell into the Pond by Alfred Noyse. It has made us all laugh.
We will be turning the poem into prose tomorrow, This means we will be writing in sentences using adjectives and noun phrases to make our work interesting.
On Friday we will be performing the poem to each other.

I think that the poem daddy fell into the pond was very funny and I hope that we will do some thing like that again.

Daddy Fell into the Pond is really great it made me laugh so much
I really enjoyed the poem Daddy Fell into the Pond by Alfred Noyse. I also enjoyed acting out my poem with Eliana! I love poetry and I loved writing my story out of the poem just like a real author!
I have really enjoyed reading When Daddy Fell into The Pond. When we were performing the poems I worked with Josh.When we were writing pros we set it out in three paragraphs for the three verses.
I really like the poem "daddy Fell Into The Pond" .Its so funny, It even made my dad laugh.

Me and Sophia have enjoyed working on a poem called Daddy Fell into the Pond.
We loved writing the story's about the poem.

'Daddy Fell Into The Pond' is a nice poem because it is funny, rhymes at some points and has a bit of repitition aswell.Here's the first verse:
'Everyone grumbled.The sky was grey.
We had nothing to do and nothing to say,
We were nearing the end of a dismal day.
And there seemed to be nothing beyond,
THEN
Daddy fell into the pond!'
The next vere they all cheer up and are happy.The final verse talks about how pleased the are but poor daddy.
We really like learning about Daddy fell into the pond. It started boring in the poem but then it went really happy and funny .
